About the Offer
This offer is available to current EE, Orange and T-Mobile mobile customers only. The offer is only available in EE retail stores.
If you are 6 months into your current EE, Orange or T-Mobile contract, this offer allows you to swap selected handsets for a new 4G-ready handset, and upgrade your plan to a superfast mobile 4GEE plan (if you’re not already an EE customer).
To redeem this offer, please note that:
i. You need to be on an existing EE, Orange or T-Mobile plan - whether that’s a new plan or an upgrade/renewal from a previous plan and including plans which were taken out from one of our indirect partners such as the Carphone Warehouse;
ii. You are eligible for this offer after 6 months into your current contract with EE, Orange or T-Mobile except the first 14 days of your current contract (our 14 day returns policy applies) and the last 45 days.
iii. You will need to sign up to a new 4GEE plan with a 24 month minimum term.
iv. You will have to pay a fee as well as return an eligible handset (see our website for eligible handsets) - the cost of the fee depends on the new 4GEE tariff you sign up to. Full cost details are set out on our website.
v. You can select any 4G handset from our available range for your new plan.
vi. You can only sign up to a consumer plan on EE with a monthly cost (excluding any out of allowances costs for calls, texts or data) that is the same monthly cost or higher than your current plan on EE, Orange or T-Mobile; and
vii. It may take up to one business day to transfer your old number to your new EE phone.
Swapping your current handset
You can only swap from consumer plans on EE, T-Mobile or Orange if you have an eligible handset. A list of eligible handsets can be found on our website. You can swap to any 4G handset from our available range. Please note, as part of the swap, to upgrade to a 32GB or 64GB iPhone you will be required to pay an additional charge along with the fee. Handsets eligible for swap may change.
Condition of your current handset
You will need to give us back your old EE, T-Mobile or Orange handset. The handset must be in perfect, working condition and be capable of being switched on. We will not accept handsets that do not turn on or are damaged; that have cracked or scratched screens; or that have cracks to the device casing and the buttons must work. Our retail staff will decide whether to accept your phone based on its condition and their decision is final. Remember you will not be able to retrieve your old phone, so you should back up all contacts and data from your old phone before giving it to us.
We have limited 4G coverage in the UK. You can only use mobile internet on our 4G network if you’re within a 4G enabled area and in range of a 4G mast. 4G is only available in select areas in the UK. Your 4G phone may not be compatible with other 4G networks (inside and outside the UK). If you don’t have 4G coverage, your phone will drop back to our 3G network if you’re in a 3G covered area. You should check your personal 4G coverage before you move to EE at www.ee.co.uk/coverage.
Returns policy regarding your new EE plan
Our standard retail returns policy is not applicable to this offer. That means if you swap your old 3G phone and plan for a new 4G one, you cannot return your new device and plan for any reason other than those contained within the Sale of Goods Act. You will not be able to retrieve your old 3G phone either. We recommend you do a coverage check at ee.co.uk/coverage to make sure you can use your phone where you want to.
