With EE, all eligible customers get WiFi on the London Underground, provided by Virgin Media, as part of your plan. The service is available in ticket halls, walkways and platforms at over 100 stations, but not in tunnels or between stations.
You can use it with any WiFi enabled device like smartphones, tablets or laptops. Any device that can connect to a home, work or public WiFi network will be able to connect to WiFi on the London Underground.
If you want to use a business device, contact your IT department to find out whether it’ll work.
Once you register, WiFi on the London Underground will remember a unique code that is used to authenticate your device. So you’ll automatically connect whenever you travel on the Underground.
You can register three devices, and when this limit has been reached, your least-used device will be disconnected if you connect a fourth one.
Some content will be blocked, as it’s a public WiFi network and Virgin Media has a responsibility to make sure the content available is suitable for young people - whether they access it themselves, or whether they accidentally see it over someone’s shoulder.
Usage is unlimited, you'll just need to accept the T&Cs, which will appear when you connect for the first time.
